Calibrate
your monitor to best view this site as it was intended.
Note:
This is a crude procedure by professional standards
and only addresses the adjustment of luminance levels. But for those of you
who don't calibrate your monitors on a regular basis, it will get you most
of the way.
To adjust your luminance levels:
Turn the contrast on your monitor all the
way up.
The word "hilight" should still be
barely visible
in the white patch at right.
Adjust the brightness so you can barely read
the word "shadow" in the black patch.
